APIW Houston x YRP International Women’s Day Brunch (2026)

One of Houston’s most anticipated annual traditions, the 2026 International Women’s Day Brunch once again delivered inspiration and energy. This year’s executive panel featured three exceptional industry leaders: Adele Hapworth, CEO of American Equity Underwriters; Maddie Dobson, Regional Manager at Chubb Insurance; and Daniela Mills, National Property Director at CRC Group. Their insights, candor, and leadership sparked meaningful conversations and left attendees motivated to continue breaking barriers across the industry.

"Conversations with Heart” Galentine’s Day Social (2026)

Our annual Galentine’s gathering brought together APIW members and new friends for an evening dedicated to community, celebration, and genuine connection. The event was filled with thoughtful conversations and an outpouring of positivity—reflected in the incredible engagement across LinkedIn. It served as a beautiful reminder of the power of women supporting women and the importance of creating spaces where authentic networking thrives.

Leadership Summit (2025)

The 2025 Leadership Summit was an energizing and transformative experience for members across Houston. The event featured a powerhouse keynote address from Susan Rivera, CEO of Tokio Marine, whose insights into leadership, resilience, and innovation left attendees inspired and ready to take on new challenges. Members walked away feeling uplifted, connected, and excited for the momentum ahead.

APIW Houston Book Club: We Should All Be Feminists (2025)

In one of the year’s most intimate and thought‑provoking gatherings, members explored Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s We Should All Be Feminists. This book club session created a profoundly meaningful environment—welcoming open dialogue, shared perspectives, and honest reflections on equality, advocacy, and progress. The conversation brought forward the strong, thoughtful voices that define our Houston community and reinforced the impact of creating inclusive spaces for discussion and growth.
