About the Chicago Network

Our APIW Chicago Network was formed in 1987, and we are a major resource for insurance women as they pursue goals within their careers, from early career joiners to seasoned executives. We offer opportunities for learning and development – soft and technical skill panels, networking, mentoring, partnering with diverse associations and exploring different industry facets. Giving back is a strong component of many of our events with support provided to groups addressing domestic violence victims, providing health products for women, and supporting adolescent mothers and their children.

"APIW Chicago is where collaboration comes to life. The members are dynamic, generous with their knowledge, and committed to uplifting one another. I walk away from every event with new insights, new contacts, and new motivation. What stands out most is the genuine care people show—this network celebrates wins, shares challenges, and creates a space where everyone can grow. It’s made a meaningful impact on my career journey.”
