Cheryl Vollweiler is a Partner with the law firm of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry, where her practice focuses on all aspects of insurance coverage and defense. Her areas of expertise include complex insurance disputes, reinsurance, bad faith litigation, international arbitration, products liability, general liability, premises and hotel liability, property damage and first-party coverage and toxic torts. She has acted as coverage counsel, defense counsel to U.S. and foreign insurers in U.S. litigation nationwide and international arbitrations, and has supervised defense counsel on a nationwide basis on diverse books of business. Rose M.J. Charles, Esq. is Vice President, Head of Excess Casualty Claims Counsel for Endurance Services, Ltd. Ms. Charles joined Endurance supervising the Excess Casualty Claims Teams in Bermuda and the U.S., as well as a variety of property and casualty matters, and overseeing the management of external TPAs. Prior to joining Endurance, Rose was a Litigation Partner with the nationwide law firm of Wilson, Elser, LLP where she defended and tried cases for public housing authorities, municipalities, and private entities where she obtained settlements, defense verdicts, summary judgments and dismissals of often sensitive, high exposure, and complex liability matters including: §1983 Claims, Premises Security/Rape, Construction/Labor Law, Medical Malpractice, Lead paint and Toxic mold matters in Federal and State Court. Of note, she defended entities in the Atlanta Day Trading Massacre Cases, the Columbine Colorado Shooting Cases, the Rhode Island Fire Case, and personally supervised a team who conducted more than 1200 municipal hearings for claims arising from the 2003 Staten Island ferry crash and from law enforcement interactions with citizens at the 2004 Republican National Convention. She has presented seminars to universities and campus organizations, banks, hospitals, property owners, and insurance trade groups in addition to police officers and peace officers on the issue of premises security and risk management. She has written articles relating insurance, legal, risk management, and has been published in the New York Law Journal and the Jury Verdict Reporter. Rose is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and is admitted to the New York State Bar and Federal Courts. She has been an Adjunct professor at East Stroudsburg University. She is fluent in French and Haitian Creole and enjoys traveling and cooking.

Jeanne Kohler is a Partner at Carlton Fields Jorden & Burt, resident in the firm’s NY office. Ms. Kohler represents U.S. and international insurers and reinsurers in complex commercial litigation and arbitrations, including complex insurance coverage disputes and reinsurance matters. She regularly represents and counsels her clients on claims, coverage and regulatory issues across all lines of business. She has represented insurers and reinsurers in numerous litigations, mediations and arbitrations involving facultative and treaty reinsurance with respect to a variety of issues. She has also represented insurers, brokers, third-party administrators and managing general agents and underwriters in disputes. In addition, Ms. Kohler has negotiated and drafted settlement agreements and commutation agreements on behalf of clients. She also assists clients with product development and the drafting of insurance policy wordings. She also has extensive experience drafting reinsurance contracts and assisting clients in the review and analysis of reinsurance contracts. Ms. Kohler has authored numerous articles on insurance and reinsurance related issues, and has spoken on a variety of insurance and reinsurance related topics at various insurance and reinsurance industry conferences. Ms. Kohler received her BA from Hofstra University and her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
Nalini Shah is an insurance industry veteran with over 32 years of experience. Her career began at First National City Bank (Citibank) working with payroll deductions for Series E bonds. Her next position was at First Rehab processing New York State Disability for the employees of school districts. This led to her position at William Mercer in the Employee Benefits Division which led her to Aetna where the Property and Casualty division was acquired by Travelers. She has been with Personal lines at Travelers for over 25 years and watched the company and the industry change through the years. Her passion is mentoring agents, developing strong relationships and helping them cultivate and grow their book of business. When not at work, Nalini is travelling, reading, cooking and enjoys spending time with her family.

Susan Barros is President of The Beaumont Group, Inc. (BMG), a boutique woman, wholly-owned corporation specializing in marketing/management services predominately in the insurance industry, which was founded in 2002.
With offices in New York and New Jersey, BMG currently serves as the home office and marketing/communications center for various societies and professional associations. Through these associations and through various other conference project work, The Beaumont Group manages more than 25 events per year, including golf outings, luncheons, conferences and educational days, with exhibit halls.
